Advertise on GetScientific

It's our goal to keep GetScientific a meaningful, helpful, and friendly community of academics and science hobbyists. That said, our server bills need to be paid and we like to eat food from time to time so we are accepting advertising proposals at this time.

We don't have a rate card or specific process set up but we're happy to talk to you about sponsorship options for the site. We offer a few different options:

• Site-wide banner - we need to approve the creative and the product being advertised but we are open to whole-site banners.
• Category-specific advertising - you can choose to advertise in a specific site section or category if your program or product is related to one of these sections.
• Sponsored content - we're still working out the details here but we can offer sponsored content placement in specific sections of our site. We're also open to content branding if the resource is on-par with the rest of the materials we post. As an example, if your college wanted to submit a great guide on covalent bonding, we could figure out a way to include you school's logo on the content.

What we won't do under any circumstances:

• Pop-up, pop-in, pop-over, pop-under, or pop-anywhere advertising
• Alter the ratings of content submitted to our site
• - Theme "take-overs" (this would be a massive undertaking)
• Advertise inappropriate or potentially harmful products (think cigarettes, alcohol, or student credit cards)
